Bachata and kizomba are two separate dance styles that will be taught in the same class this semester. The class will be an open class, which means it's open for both beginners and intermediate dancers. During the classes on Tuesday (19.30-21.30) we will focus on learning proper technique, body movement, and musicality - where we aim to provide well suited challenges for both new and old dancers. Here you can just meet up, with or without a partner.
On thursdays there will be practice classes from 17:00 to 19:00. Here you can practice the moves you've learned in class, or patterns you've found somewhere else. There will be no instruction, but there will be instructors available if you're stuck on something. In these classes you need to bring someone along to practice, as there will be no organized rotation of partners. Find a friend in class and bring them along!
Wear clean and comfortable clothes. Bring dance shoes or other comfortable shoes for use indoors only, or be able to dance in your socks.
